When Jerry founded WOOHP in 1975, he had one simple goal in mind. Prevent then eradicate all crime on a global scale. To help achieve this, he knew he had to elevate himself to near peak humanity. He taught himself how to be an efficient spy by learning top level espionage techniques, figured out the intricate mechanics to create gadgets from otherwise ordinary items, and over the decade has built an overgrowing team of like-minded agents that have aided him closer his goal. For 10 years he carried the burden of being a one man powerhouse. But lately, it's been taking a mental and physical toll on him. At this rate, if he continues to put himself on the fields on top of all his other duties as head of WOOHP, it could very well be the death of him.

HeadquartersWOOHP Headquarters is located in downtown Los Angeles, California. At the time, it was the only building dedicated to the the agency. |
|
Position: Founder & Leader Founder and director of WOOHP. Jerry oversees all agency operations and aids other divisions of the organization. Despite the step down he's taken, Jerry is still a master spy and is a formidable agent with years of experience. It wouldn't be too outlandish to say Jerry was near his prime around this time. |
B.O.BPosition: Agent B.O.B (Brains Over Brawn) had only been at WOOHP for about a year before the golden trio joined. Back then, he was doing a bit of everything within the HQ. Filing, seeking out new agents, assigning them to branches, etc. As his name would suggest, B.O.B is a strategist, someone who is good at finding work arounds for problems and is as loyal as they come. It's no wonder Jerry keeps him close by. |

|
Position: Head of Laboratory & Weapons Expert One of WOOHP's most brilliant agents to step into the gadgets laboratory. He has had a hand in developing many of the gadgets still being used today. Arrogant and a bit conceited, but had the skill and know-how to back it up. |
The spy gene in question. |
The Spy GeneBeing a spy isn't just a job. For agents at WOOHP, it's in their DNA. Literally! It's a hereditary genetic mutation that can sometimes form from uh... other causes besides inheriting. What does it do?Isn't that the question! Truth is... We don't know! Even back then the thought that a uniquely shaped S genetic mutation could transform random civillians with no prior field training into master class spies sounded like something straight out of a fairy tale. But upon further scientific analysis, that isn't how it works at all. Simply having the spy gene doesn't naturally turn you into competent spy; the same way a radioactive spider would turn you into a superhero. All it appears to do is give you that ever so slight nudge that amplifies your skills to be pushed beyond normal human limitations. The gene doesn't magically grant you hyper specific knowledge about espionage tactics or combat training. In fact, there are people who live entirely ordinary lives without even knowing they possess one. Apart from finding certain physical or mental tasks slightly easier than the average person, there's virtually no strong difference. Think of it this way: a body builder with the spy gene vs one witout one walk in (stop drooling!) and they both follow the same training program, maintain the same diet, and can bench the same exact weight. Eventually, the one with the spy gene will continue to make smaller improvements long after the other has reached their physical limit. He may look super human, but it was all made possible due to the carrier's body's potential extends further than the other's. And that's all thanks to the spy gene. In conclusion, the spy gene simply magnifies the skills you already possess. And it's up to you whether you'll use it for good or for bad. |
